2009 founded Ekolite is a material technology company, which converts biomass and industrial wastes to advanced composite materials by means of mechanical and/or chemical activation. Ekolite has several product application areas such as geopolymers for infrastructures based on ash from modified biofuels, Natural Fiber Composites based on industrial sideflows for thermal, acoustic and fire insulating materials and functional biomaterials based on wood or agrofibers for lightweight structures and special applications.
